Set of conditioning of a cosmetic product
The present invention relates to a packaging assembly of a cosmetic product, of the type comprising an absorbent support capable of being impregnated with said cosmetic product.
For the purposes of the present invention, the term "cosmetic product" is intended to mean a cosmetic product intended to be applied to a human being. A "cosmetic product" is more generally a product as defined in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products. The invention relates in particular to cosmetic products in the form of a viscous fluid, such as creams.
It is known to present certain cosmetic products in a packaging assembly comprising an absorbent support impregnated with product, as described in document US2014 / 0170253. Such an absorbent support avoids any unwanted flow of the cosmetic product, the latter being released by contacting an applicator with the support.
However, cream-type cosmetic products contain colored pigments. At the first use, the surface of the absorbent support is therefore likely to have an irregularly colored appearance, unattractive to the user.
The present invention aims to improve the presentation of such a package before use. For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a packaging assembly of the aforementioned type, in which the absorbent support comprises a first non-impregnated zone of cosmetic product and a second zone impregnated with a cosmetic product, said first and second zones being in contact with each other. with each other.
According to other advantageous aspects of the invention, the packaging assembly comprises one or more of the following characteristics, taken individually or according to all the possible technical combinations: the support comprises a first and a second opposite external surface; one to the other, said first and second surfaces being adjacent respectively to the first non-impregnated zone and the second impregnated zone; the first non-impregnated zone extends over a thickness of between 0.1% and 99.9% of a total thickness of the absorbent support, said thickness preferably being between 15% and 35%, more preferably between 15% and 20%; - The packaging assembly further comprises a receptacle receiving the absorbent support; the first surface, adjacent to the first non-impregnated zone, is oriented towards an opening of the receptacle; - The packaging assembly further comprises a layer of cosmetic product disposed between the support and a bottom of the receptacle; - The packaging assembly further comprises a device for holding the support in the receptacle, said holding device being fixed to said receptacle and and in contact with the first non-impregnated area of cosmetic product; the cosmetic product is a makeup or care composition. The invention furthermore relates to a method of manufacturing a packaging assembly as described above, comprising the following steps: disposition of the receptacle; then depositing in the receptacle a dose of cosmetic product; then depositing the absorbent support on the surface of the cosmetic product; then applying a pressing pad to the first surface of the absorbent support; and then moving the buffer towards the bottom of the receptacle, a distance chosen so as to partially impregnate the absorbent support of cosmetic product.
According to other advantageous aspects of the invention, the method comprises one or more of the following characteristics, taken separately or according to all the possible technical combinations: the distance of displacement of the buffer towards the bottom of the receptacle is between 0, 1% and 99.9%, preferably 80% to 85%, of a total thickness of the absorbent support; the displacement of the buffer comprises an acceleration followed by a deceleration; the method comprises a step of assembling the device for holding the absorbent support to the receptacle. The invention further relates to an apparatus for implementing a manufacturing method as described above, comprising: a support for the receptacle of the packaging assembly; a pad capable of coming into contact with the first surface of the absorbent support; and means for relative displacement of the buffer with respect to the support, said means comprising a servomotor.
Preferably, the apparatus further comprises a mechanical device for the relative displacement of the holding device towards the bottom of the receptacle, so as to elastically engage said holding device on an edge of the upper opening, said mechanical device comprising a servomotor. The invention further relates to a method of using a packaging assembly as described above, comprising a first step of compressing the absorbent support, followed by a second releasing step, so that part of the cosmetic product impregnated in the second zone diffuses by contact into the first zone. The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of nonlimiting example and with reference to the drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a diagrammatic view, in section, of a packaging unit according to one embodiment of the invention; and FIGS. 2 to 5 are diagrammatic views of different steps of a manufacturing process of the packaging assembly of FIG. 1 by a manufacturing apparatus according to one embodiment of the invention, the packaging assembly being represented in section. The packaging assembly 10 visible in Figure 1 is presented before the first use. The packaging assembly 10 comprises: a receptacle 12 enclosing a cosmetic product 14; an absorbent support 16 received in the receptacle 12; a device 18 for holding the absorbent support in the receptacle; and a lid 20 closing the receptacle.
Preferably, the packaging assembly 10 further comprises a housing (not shown) in which the receptacle 12 is inserted, for example removably. The receptacle 12 then has a charging function and can be replaced in the housing by an identical receptacle.
Preferably, the packaging assembly further comprises an applicator (not shown) of a cosmetic product, such as a sponge.
The receptacle 12 is disposed along a main axis 22 intended to be substantially vertical during the use of the assembly 10. The receptacle 12 has a bottom 24 substantially perpendicular to the axis 22.
The receptacle 12 also has a side wall 25. The side wall 25 and the bottom 24 define an internal cavity 26 of the receptacle 12.
Preferably, the side wall 25 has a cylindrical shape extending along the axis 22. In the example of Figures 1 to 5, the side wall 25 has a cylindrical shape of revolution and the bottom 24 has a circular contour. Other forms are however possible within the scope of the invention.
An upper edge 27 of the side wall 25 defines an upper opening 28 of the internal cavity 26.
The lid 20 is adapted to be assembled to the receptacle 12 so as to close the upper opening 28. Preferably, the lid 20 is articulated to the receptacle 12 by means of a hinge (not shown) and / or provided with locking means (not shown) in closed position.
The cosmetic product 14, received in the cavity 26 of the receptacle 12, is in the form of a viscous fluid such as a cream, preferably of the foundation type. The cosmetic product 14 comprises, for example, colored pigments.
The absorbent support 16 has a cylindrical shape substantially complementary to an inner surface of the side wall 25. The absorbent support 16 also has two opposite faces 30, 32 disposed substantially perpendicular to the axis 22. A first face 30 is oriented towards the outside of the cavity 26 and a second face 32 is oriented towards the bottom 24.
The absorbent support 16 is preferably formed of an open-cell sponge or of woven or non-woven fibers. In particular, the support 16 is preferably formed of a nonwoven material.
For the purposes of the present invention, the term "nonwoven" means a substrate comprising fibers in which the individual fibers or the filaments are arranged in a disordered manner in a sheet-like structure and which are neither woven nor knitted. The fibers of the nonwoven are generally bonded together, either under the effect of a mechanical action (eg needling, air jet, water jet, etc.), or under the effect of an action thermal, or by adding a binder.
Such a nonwoven is for example defined by the ISO 9092 standard as a web or a layer of directionally or randomly oriented fibers, linked by friction and / or cohesion and / or adhesion, excluding paper and the products obtained. by weaving, knitting, tufting, or seaming incorporating binding yarns or filaments.
A nonwoven differs from a paper by the length of the fibers used. In paper, the fibers are shorter. However, there are nonwovens based on cellulosic fiber which are made wet and have short fibers as in paper. The difference between a nonwoven and a paper is generally the absence of hydrogen bonding between the fibers in a nonwoven.
According to a preferred embodiment, the material of the absorbent support 16 is chosen from the following materials: acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber - NBR), styrene-butadiene rubber (styrene-butadiene rubber -SBR), natural rubber (natural rubber - NR), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), latex, silicone, film-like material, styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS), styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), silicone elastomer, nitrile, butyl, polyether, polyurethane, polyester, neoprene, and mixtures thereof.
According to a preferred embodiment, the first face 30 is formed of a flexible grid 34, shown in dashed lines in FIG. 1. The flexible grid 34 is for example constituted by a woven fabric. The flexible grid 34 is fixed or superimposed on the rest of the absorbent support 16 formed of a nonwoven material, a foam or a sponge.
The absorbent support 16 is received in the cavity 26 of the receptacle 12 and partially impregnated with cosmetic product 14. More specifically, the absorbent support 16 comprises two zones 36, 38 in contact with each other, superimposed along the axis 22 By "contacting one another" is preferably meant that the material forming the support 16 is continuous between the two zones 36 and 38.
A first zone 36 or outer zone, adjacent to the first face 30, is devoid of cosmetic product 14. A second zone 38, adjacent to the first zone 36 and the second face 32, encloses cosmetic product 14.
A limit 40 between the two zones 36, 38 corresponds to a minimum distance 42 along the axis 22 between the first face 30 and the cosmetic product 14 impregnated with the absorbent support 16. The minimum distance 42 is non-zero.
Preferably, the minimum distance 42 is between 0.1% and 99.9%, more preferably between 15% and 35%, even more preferably between 15% and 20%, with a total thickness 44 of the absorbent support 16. along the axis 22.
The physical properties of the cosmetic product 14 and of the material forming the absorbent support 16 are chosen so that, when the pores of the absorbent support 16 are filled with air, the phenomenon of diffusion of the cosmetic product 14 in the support 16 by capillarity is negligible. .
Thus, before the first use of the cosmetic product 14, said product is totally confined in a thickness of the support 16, the latter having an unimpregnated outer surface 30. The hygiene and aesthetics of the new product are improved.
Preferably, before the first use of the cosmetic product 14, the packaging assembly 10 further comprises a layer 46 of cosmetic product 14 disposed under the support 16, that is to say between the bottom 24 of the receptacle 12 and the second Face 32 of said support 16. The layer 46 has, for example, along the axis 22, a thickness 48 of between 10% and 25%, more preferably between 18% and 22%, of the total thickness 44 of the absorbent support 16 .
Preferably, the thickness 44, the amount of cosmetic product 14 and the porosity of the material of the support 16 are chosen so that said support is entirely impregnated with cosmetic product 14 when its second face 32 is in contact with the bottom 24 of the receptacle.
The device 18 holding the support 16 in the receptacle 12 comprises a ring 52 in contact with a periphery of the first face 30 of the support 16. The holding device 18 is fixed to the receptacle 12. In the example of Figure 1 said holding device comprises a groove 54 fitted elastically on the upper edge 27 of the side wall 25 of the receptacle 12. The groove 54 is preferably integral with the ring 52.
Preferably, the holding device 18 is dimensioned so that the ring 52 slightly compresses the periphery of the first face 30 of the support 16. The packaging assembly 10 described above is intended to be produced industrially, with rates high production. Figures 2 to 5 show schematic views of different positions of a device 60 of manufacturing assembly 10. The apparatus 60 is of the mounting station type. The apparatus 60 comprises in particular a mobile support 62, a filling station 64, a deposit station 66, a pressure station 68 and a clipping station 70. The apparatus 60 also comprises an electronic control device (not shown) adapted to control the operation of the different stations 64, 66, 68, 70.
The mobile support 62 is able to move a receptacle 12 between the different positions of said apparatus 60. The mobile support 62 comprises for example a cavity 72 adapted to receive a receptacle 12. The mobile support 62 is furthermore connected to means for setting movement, such as a treadmill (not shown). The operation of the treadmill is managed by the electronic device control device 60. The various positions 64, 66, 68, 70 of the device 60 are for example aligned one after the other along of said treadmill.
The filling station 64 is able to deliver a dose of cosmetic product 14 into the cavity 26 of the receptacle 12, for example by means of a filling nozzle 74.
The deposition station 66 is capable of depositing an absorbent support 16 on the surface of the cosmetic product 14 filling the cavity 26. The deposition station comprises for example an articulated arm (not shown), said arm supporting a suction nozzle 76 connected to a pump (not shown). The articulated arm is preferably set in motion by a servomotor (not shown).
The pressure station 68 is able to move the absorbent support 16 downwards with respect to the receptacle 12, in order to drive said support into the cavity 26. The pressure station 68 notably comprises a pressing buffer 78, said pressing buffer comprising a bearing surface 80. Preferably, the bearing surface 80 is disk-shaped. More preferably, a diameter of the bearing surface 80 is between 90% and 95% of a diameter of the first face 30 of the absorbent support 16.
The pressing buffer 78 comprises means for moving in the vertical direction, said means comprising a servomotor (not shown).
The clipping station 70 is able to fix the holding device 18 to the receptacle 12 by elastic interlocking. The clipping station 70 comprises for example an articulated arm (not shown) capable of depositing a holding device 18 on the upper edge 27 of the receptacle 12. The clipping station 70 further comprises a buffer 82 adapted to move down the holding device 18 relative to the receptacle, in order to clip the groove 54 on the edge 27.
A method of manufacturing the packaging assembly 10 will now be described. This method is implemented by the apparatus 60, in particular by means of a production program executed by the electronic control device.
In a first step of the method, an empty receptacle 12, possibly assembled to a lid 20 in the open position, is deposited in the cavity 72 of the support 62. The axis 22 is then arranged vertically and the opening 28 facing upwards.
In a second step of the method, the support 62 is moved to the filling station 64 and a dose of cosmetic product 14 is poured into the cavity 26 by the nozzle 74, as can be seen in FIG. 2.
In a third step of the method, the support 62 is moved to the depot 66; the articulated arm of said deposition station withdraws an absorbent support 16 by suction by means of the nozzle 76. The articulated arm then positions the absorbent support 16 at the opening 28 of the receptacle 12, then the suction of the nozzle 76 is cut. The absorbent support 16 is thus deposited on the surface of the cosmetic product 14, as can be seen in FIG.
In a fourth step of the method, the support 62 is moved to the pressure station 68. The pressing buffer 78 is then moved so as to bring the bearing surface 80 into contact with the first face 30 of the absorbent support 16, said absorbent support 16 being placed on the surface of the cosmetic product 14. At this stage, it is considered that the pressing buffer 78 is at an initial position P0 with respect to the receptacle 12.
In a fifth step of the method, the pressing pad 78 is moved vertically to the bottom 24 of the receptacle, from the initial position P0. The bearing surface 80 exerts pressure on the support 16, which is partially impregnated with cosmetic product 14 while being moved downwards. The stamp is moved to a final position Pi, shown in FIG.
The displacement of the pressing buffer 78 and its stopping at the position Pi are managed by the electronic device control device 60. A distance 84 between the positions P0 and Pi, according to the vertical, is configured in the manufacturing program, so as to impregnate cosmetic product 14 with the second zone 38 of the absorbent support 16, up to the minimum distance 42 with the first face 30.
In particular, the displacement of the buffer 78 by means of a servomotor makes it possible to precisely control the movement distance 84 and to keep the cosmetic product 14 out of the first zone 36 of the absorbent support 16. Displacement devices of the prior art , pneumatic or hydraulic press type, do not allow such precision.
Preferably, the displacement of the buffer 78 between the positions P0 and Pi comprises a first acceleration phase followed by a second deceleration phase. A slowing down of the buffer 78 arriving near the position P makes it possible to release the pressure and to prevent the cosmetic product 14 from diffusing into the first zone 36 of the absorbent support 16.
Preferably, the position Ρλ is configured so as to maintain a layer 46 of cosmetic product 14 under the support 16, as can be seen in FIG. 4.
Preferably, the distance 84 is between 0.1% and 99.9%, more preferably between 80% to 85%, of the total thickness 44 of the absorbent support 16.
In a sixth step of the method, the support 62 is moved to the clipping station 70. The articulated arm of the station 70 deposits a holding device 18 on the upper edge 27, then the buffer 82 pushes down said device 18. The groove 54 snaps elastically onto the edge 27 of the receptacle 12. The absorbent support 16 is then held in the receptacle by the ring 52.
The lid 20 is then closed, to lead to the packaging assembly 10 as shown in Figure 1.
A method as described above, performed by an apparatus 60 equipped with servomotors as described above, allows rapid production rates and high accuracy in the positioning of the supports 16 and the holding devices 18.
According to one variant, the apparatus 60 comprises means for moving the support 62 upwards by means of servomotors. During the fifth and / or sixth steps, the support 62 moves upwards towards the buffers 78 or 82.
A method of using the packaging assembly 10 will now be described. At the first use, the user presses on the first face 30 of the absorbent support 16 in order to compress said support 16 and to completely push said support 16 to the bottom of the cavity 26. The layer 46 of cosmetic product 14 then impregnates in the absorbent support 16. The first zone 36 is also impregnated with product 14, by contact with the second zone 38. The user then releases its pressure. The user can then take product 14 by contacting an applicator or a part of the body with the first face 30 of the absorbent support 16, said first face 30 then being impregnated with cosmetic product 14.
